H. Adam Harris is a director focusing on heart-forward, textually rigorous, imaginative productions of classics and new work. His directing credits include the world premieres of Heritage at North Carolina Black Repertory and 5 at The Jungle Theater, both by JuCoby Johnson. Other work: Snow White at South Coast Repertory; Redwood at The Jungle Theater; Luna Gale and How It’s Gon’ Be with Underdog Theatre Company. He has directed readings and development workshops with IAMA Theater Company’s Emerging Writers and New Works Festivals and the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, National Black Theater, Theater Mu, Theater Latte Da, History Theater, and Exposed Brick Theater. He is the Artistic & Audience Engagement Associate at South Coast Repertory and Board Co-Chair at Ten Thousand Things.
