In its second year, Spectrum Speak Up wows audiences in two performances!
Building upon 2018’s inaugural Spectrum Speak Up program, 2019 saw this new program continue with a brand new show. This summer, the Speak Up students created another original anthology of short stories entitled DiagNOsis. This anthology consisted of many short pieces written by Speak Up students and starred the ensemble of students. Check out some photos from the post-show reception below:
The Orange County Asperger’s Support Group (OCASG) and Chance Theater are working together to present the new Spectrum ‘Speak Up’ Series crafted specifically for teens who have been diagnosed with high functioning Autism, Asperger’s or PDD-NOS. During the course of the five-week program, students create new connections, learn the fundamentals of storytelling, have fun, express themselves, and create and perform in an original play!
