Meet Corky Loupe (Leo Joseph) 
What social issue(s) are you passionate about?
I am most passionate about Marriage Equality and the advances that have been made since Prop 8.
What was on your mind on the verge of the new millennium in 1999?
I remember it was all “Y2K” that year and how we were all terrified that we would lose our AOL accounts and contacts. Still, [it was] two years prior to 9/11 and we were not in ‘perpetual war’; it was hard to imagine things getting much worse, we were still naive.
If you met any of the characters on the street, who would you share a pint iwth and who would make you turn and walk away? And why?
I would like to spend some time with Mel because she wouldn’t talk your ear off.
Do you have a favorite moment in the play?
When Emma remembers her “Walk-Man”.
How do you prepare to work on a project like this?
If you have the luxury of some land, a riding lawnmower, and some recent rain, you get hours of opportunity to just think, and that’s what I try to do as much as I can. And I think about how I made up my mind too soon about this family.
